Ademetionine 1,4-butanedisulfonate CAS 101020-79-5
Adenosine methionine is a physiologically active molecule in body tissues and body fluids.
It as A methyl donor (transmethylation) and physiologic thiol compounds (such as cysteine,
taurine, glutathione and coenzyme A, etc.) of the precursor (sulfonium role) to participate in
important biochemical reactions in the body. In the liver, adenosine is used to regulate the
mobility of the liver cell membrane by making the membrane phospholipid methylation, and
the synthesis of sulfide products in the process of detoxification can be promoted by the
reaction of the reaction of the sulfur base. These reactions help to prevent intrahepatic cholestasis.
The multi-action mechanism of adenosine methionine is mainly reflected in the following aspects:
1. Transmethylation: improve the fluidity of liver cell membrane, enhance the activity of Na + –
k + -atp enzyme, promote the secretion and operation of bile, and participate in the synthesis of
neurotransmitter, which can improve the mood of patients. 2. Transfer of sulfur: generate endogenous
disinfectants, such as cysteine, glutathione, taurine, etc., play the role of detoxification and oxidation,
and reduce the damage of liver cells. 3. Trans – propylamine: synthesizing biological polyamines,
participating in the metabolism of the body, regulating the regeneration and proliferation of liver
cells, and accelerating the repair of liver function.
It is applicable to liver cirrhosis and liver cirrhosis. It is suitable for the deposition
of intrahepatic cholestasis during pregnancy.
