Blue-black crystalline powder. Melting point 165-169 ℃ (decomposition). Soluble in chloroform, carbon tetrachloride, slightly soluble in alcohol, insoluble in water. This product is a complex indicator for the determination of trace edges, and is used for the determination of cobalt, copper, mercury, zinc and silver. Used as a reagent for the determination of lead, zinc, bismuth, cobalt, cadmium, copper, mercury, silver, etc.
