Usage

Refrigerant R143a is used as a refrigerant, it is a substitute for R502.

Health hazards 
1.Invasive pathway: inhalation. 
2.Health hazards: This product is narcotic in high concentration. In case of thermal decomposition, hydrogen fluoride release toxic smoke. 
Toxicology information and environmental behavior 
1.Toxicity: Low toxicity. Anesthesia effect. 
2.Hazardous characteristics: Form into an explosive mixture when mixed with air .Burn and explode easily when explosure to heat, sparkle or flame. Release toxic fluoride gas when heated. The gas is heavier than air, it can spread to a far distance .
3.Combustion (decomposition) products: carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, hydrogen fluoride.

Storage

R-143a refrigerant cylinder is a pressure vessel, it should be keep away from fire, heat, avoid direct sunlight, usually store in a cool, dry and ventilated warehouse, you should be lightly armed, lightly unloading to prevent the cylinders ,valves and other accessories from broken.

Emergency Handling Measures

Quickly evacuate the leak pollution area,isolate and strictly limit access. Cut off the fire source. Recommended emergency personnel wear self positive pressure respirator, wear protective clothing for firefighters.  Cut off the source of leakage as far as possible. Reasonable ventilation, accelerated diffusion. If there is no danger, burn on spot, while spurt the spray water to cool the surroundings, in case of other combustible fire. Or use the pipeline lead to the furnace, then burning. Leak container should be properly treated, repair and inspection before re-use.

Preventive measure

1.Respiratory protection: when the concentration is high in the air, choose the self absorption filter gas mask (half mask) or air breathing apparatusit according to  the concentration of the pollution gas and whether the operating environment is lacking oxygen or not . 
2.Eye protection: wear chemical safety goggles. 
3.Body protection: wear anti-static work clothes. 
4.Hand protection: wear general protective gloves. 
5.Other:No smoking. Avoid high concentration of inhalation.
